Yesterday, my friends and I attended London Fashion Weekend at Somerset House. Vodafone's London Fashion Weekend is open to the public twice a year. This year it runs from Thursday 21st - 24th February 2013. Tickets are still available for purchase. It's a huge event where you will be able to shop the most exclusive designers and new, emerging talented designers at great discounts!

First we headed to the Showspace area where we tried unlocking the Müllerlight padlock on the wardrobe with our codes seen above on the cards. We weren't lucky enough to open the padlock which unlocks a big prize but we did all receive a compact mirror. The Müllerlight team also handed out their Greek style yogurts for us to sample. I had a citrus flavoured one - very yummy!

The Chic&Seek team were also at London Fashion Weekend where I was asked to be photographed for their blog which was a lovely surprise. The article can be found here. You can buy, offer and seek pre-loved designer items on Chic&Seek. Thank you for featuring me on your blog!

Next we explored the main Showspace area which had a variety of designer accessory stands. Brands that stood out to me in particular were Kat&Bee jewellery and Orit. In the centre of the Showspace, there is an Elizabeth Arden pop up beauty studio; if you arrive early, they offer free make overs. For those who arrive later, they charge a £10 deposit fee for make overs which can then be claimed back with the purchase of any Elizabeth Arden make up product.

A few photos of Somerset House. There is an East, West and South wing filled with more wonderful designer shopping stands. The full list of designers featured at London Fashion Weekend can be viewed here.

The Canon Studio in the East wing was a lot of fun. Photographers shoot your street style shot and you receive a designer fashion poster of your choice too! I chose a Henry Holland print poster (below).

Make sure you visit Maison Triumph's Pop Up Boutique on the first floor. They offer a gorgeous collection of lingerie which features Helena Christensen for Triumph's luxury collections.

Inside the Radley London tote bag designed especially for London Fashion Weekend, a variety of goodies can be found including the following:
  • £20 off Radley London products for purchases over £100
  • label.m - blow out spray hair product
  • Jergens - Ultra Healing body moisturiser
  • Elizabeth Arden - Skin Balancing Lotion SPF 15
  • Colgate Max White One Toothpaste
  • Compeed Blister plasters
  • Velvet tissues
  • Lavazza Coffee
  • Maison Triumph's offer for free briefs (Facebook check-in, tweet or instagram with #themakers)
  • Müller yogurt £1 off voucher
  • ShopStyle oyster card pouch

For an extra £1 (RRP: £4.00), you can purchase a copy of ELLE UK's March 2013 issue! They also have an ELLE Magazine subscription offer with a free Benefit gift in the West Wing.

And this...

...is what I wore to London Fashion Weekend (minus my coat - it was freezing yesterday, a little snow).

Denim shirt: Bershka
Jumper: H&M
Velvet Shorts: River Island
Alphabet tights: H&M
Ankle Boots: Carvela - Kurt Geiger
Bag: Mulberry

Overall, I had a great time with my friends. I purchased a gorgeous Olivia Rubin dress - pictures to follow soon in the next week or two. Be sure to check out London Fashion Weekend if you can!
